Neuadd Horseshoe

A great winters walk around the Neuadd Horseshoe, again with good company in my friends Mitch and David.  Starting and finishing in the Taf Fechan Forest. We left the car in the large car park and headed off up the road to Neuadd reservoir we then crossed the Taf Fechan and headed up to the 642m trig point on Twyn Mwyalchod. From here we made our way along the snowy ridge of Craig Gwaun Taf to Corn Du then across to Pen y Fan the highest point in the Brecon Beacons at 886m. We had our lunch break before heading up Cribyn and over to Fan y Big for the diving board photos then made our way back to the car along a well defined track this giving fantastic views of the days walk over the reservoir.
